This mixed-use project reinvents a significant UNESCO heritage site on Prague’s iconic Parizska street. The contemporary façade is meticulously inserted into the historical fabric, using a balanced grid of travertine, glass, and patinated brass. The architectural surface gains sculptural depth and nuance at multiple scales, through the play of carefully designed stone facets and precisely detailed window openings. The street level retail space is seemingly carved out from the building volume, articulating a division from the residential units above.
