The company works nationally and internationally on residential and commercial projects providing full architectural and interior design, masterplanning, product and furniture design services for both public and private sectors, from conceptual studies up to project execution.

Our work ranges from new buildings to interventions within existing structures. Our work is driven by a consistent approach which leads to the creation of individual buildings and spaces that are intimately connected to both context and function. The approach to design respects each client and commission as unique, while giving equal consideration to every detail, whatever the size or purpose of the project.

We believe that high quality design results from continuity of the design process and intensive dialogue. Dialogue with the client, consultants, contractors and end users. We work closely together to ensure the best results are achieved through a synthesis of concept, beauty and functional integration.

The practice is consistantly seaking new ways of minimising impact of it’s structures to the environment. The location and function of a building, it’s orientation, form and structure, it’s heating and ventilation system and the materials used, have crucial impact upon the amount of energy required to build and maintain it. Our goal is to create durable buildings that respond to a changing environment and have minimal impacts on pollution and carbon emissions.

Viktor Udzenija’s rigorous approach stems from strong architectural and experiential foundations. Upon gaining his Architecture Degree from the prestigious Technical University of Munich, where he won the Project of the Year Award, he relocated to London to work for Norman Foster, on some of the world’s most iconic buildings. It was one such landmark project that led him to Dubai.

Today, his eponymous practice is based on robust principles: a keen attention to detail and functionality, a pioneering approach to sustainability, technological insight, material research and innovation. Across all categories, from high-end residential, through to retail and hospitality, he employs a refined, scalable approach, characterised by quality. Throughout the development process, from inception to implementation Viktor Udzenija takes a hands-on role. Together with his design team, he coordinates every aspect of each project to ensure the design vision is delivered in full.

Over the years, the studio has forged a strong regional and international reputation, recognised by clients, associations and publications. Winning numerous awards and design competitions, Viktor Udzenija’s cutting-edge work has also won him recognition from leading design publications around the world, including a placement among Architectural Digest’s Top 50 in the Middle East, for several consecutive years.

Inherently curious about all forms of design and continuing to push creative boundaries, his exploration of form and material naturally led to the world of product design, creating innovative and highly functional limited edition furniture and lighting objects to complement his projects, creating a comprehensive aesthetic vision. His debut, The Little Rocker, a rocking horse carved from a single block of marble was presented by the Carpenters Workshop Gallery in Dubai and New York. It was also part of the first ever retrospective exhibition of the best design from the Middle East entitled Wasl in 2016.

From conception to creation, Viktor Udzenija’s distinctive architectural approach is innovative, unique, future-focused and sustainable, adding considerable value to every project he undertakes.
